Valentine’s Day can be a difficult holiday for all the single gals out there – but don’t worry, this year we’ve got you covered.
The way we see it, Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be all about couples. Instead, why not make it a celebration of all the great loves in your life? How about spending the day with your family, friends, or even by yourself? There are plenty of ways to spread the love this holiday and we’ve got some fab ideas for you…
Did someone say sleepover?
Call your besties and tell them to bring their mermaid blankets. The Valentine’s Day sleepover club is about to commence. Watch a Disney classic, crack out the Ben & Jerry’s, have a glass of vino too many, cry and recount how much you love each other. There’s nothing like a good night in with your bffs to make you feel the love.
A night out with the girls
Whether it’s an all-night blow out or a romantic (boozy) dinner with all of your fun single friends, it’s time to get glammed up in your favourite party dress and most sexy lingerie set (who cares if it’s only you who sees it?!) A night out full of fun, giggles and bubbles will always remind you that there’s no better place to be than in the kebab shop with your best gal pals at the end of the night.
Who more important to make an effort for than yourself? This is a great time to catch up on some serious pampering. Slip into your most comfortable loungewear, try a new hair colour, paint a fresh coat of nail polish and get a bath bomb on the go – the perfect night in awaits you!
Seeing as though you don’t have to face the gruelling task of present buying this year, why not treat yourself instead? Whether it’s a night out or a night in, we’ve got the perfect party outfit – or pyjama set – for you!
Pick up some popcorn, put on your onesie and bring your duvet downstairs. This calls for a serious movie marathon. And why not let the kids join in on the action too? Snuggle up and scroll through Netflix to find the perfect mixture of classics and comedies for your cosy night in.
